The Heyborne Leadership Academy is a 2-unit course which provides an opportunity for students to cultivate and elevate their leadership skills. The Heyborne Leadership Academy is a unique experience designed to develop leadership skills of University of Pacific Students regardless of major or year. The Academy occurs on Saturday mornings and goes beyond classroom lecture and involves large group lectures led by faculty and community leaders, small cohort learning led by student mentors and experiential fieldwork utilizing Northern California as text. Participants will interact and network with some of the foremost leaders and learn leadership lessons firsthand.
The participation fees covers
Free continental breakfast every session, an Off -Campus experiential learning excursion to a corporation or non-profit demonstrating leadership in the workplace, Heyborne T-Shirt and a Certificate of completion which can be noted on your resume.
Topics
The Heyborne Leadership Academy is a semester long program, meeting Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. The curriculum topics (include, but are not limited to):
